Conserving the Duke of Burgundy butterfly in North Yorkshire

In a woodland north of Pickering there are one of the few UK strongholds of the Duke of Burgundy butterfly - a species of particular concern therefore to Butterfly Conservation.

In this film Dave Wainwright, Northern England Regional Officer for the charity, outlines some of the problems facing the butterfly and the woodland management he is undertaking to help provide a more secure future for this endangered insect.
