What makes the perfect Yorkshire village?

Organisers of a rural stand at next week's Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate are asking visitors to help them paint a profile of the perfect village. Is a post office more important than a cricket pitch, is a village hall a priority and how essential is a children's play area? (Does sustainability have any influence on your decision?)

Visitors to the Yorkshire & Humber Rural Network stand at the show on July 10 - 12 will be invited to help create artwork featuring the components of a perfect village. Their ideas about what is needed in Yorkshire and Humber villages will also be used in the network's ongoing work to influence rural policy and structure.
